DRAMA

As a drama facilitator I am looking forward to working with people from all age groups and backgrounds who share my passion for delving into the secrets of the human soul and becoming versatile.

This is all you need in life: Being in the moment, ready, aware, available, open, mindful, playful, energetic, true, connected. Ever felt all of this at once? It's the magic of acting!

It was in 2013 that I realized it was not enough for me to just enjoy this as an actress, but also to pass it on to people from all age groups who are curious about acting and want to get to know themselves a little deeper so that they can lend themselves to their characters’ mindsets and experiences.

Working as a secondary teacher I first attended courses that helped me improve my work, such as “Directing Shakespeare” at the National Theatre in London or “English Communication Skills through Drama” at the London Academy for Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA). Not only did this forever change the way I teach Shakespeare at school but it also inspired me to lead my first regional English drama workshop for students aged 12 to 18 who participated in the “Enrichment Program” of the federal government of Schleswig-Holstein in Germany. Outside of school, I became a language coach for adventurer and athlete Michael Walther in his short film “Zero Emissions Greenland” that premiered at the CINEMARE International Film Festival in 2018.

I felt that – as a facilitator rather than a teacher – I needed a deeper understanding of myself as an actress and the process of acting. So I attended individual acting workshops with director James Kerr, Senior Acting Tutor at LAMDA, as well as “Acting in Shakespeare and Contemporary Theatre” at Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. Since 2017 I have regularly participated in the Embodied Artist retreats with Lewis Barfoot and Vincent Manna.
